Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This policy explains how Dentist Near Me Bali ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information when you use dentistnearmebali.com and its appointment request form. We follow Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang Pelindungan Data Pribadi, Law No. 27 of 2022, "UU PDP"). Information about your health is specific (sensitive) personal data under that law, and we treat it with extra care.

1. Information We Collect

When you send an appointment request or a message, we collect what you choose to give us:

  • Your name, phone or WhatsApp number and, if provided, email address
  • The treatment or concern you select, whether you marked it urgent, and your preferred date and time
  • Where you are staying in Bali, if you tell us
  • Anything you write in the message box, which may include symptoms or other health information
  • The page you sent the form from

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as browser type, device type and pages visited, through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).

2. Why We Use Your Information

  • To pass your appointment request to the dental clinic so it can contact you and confirm a time
  • To prioritise requests marked urgent
  • To answer questions you send us
  • To keep the website secure, prevent spam and understand how the site is used so we can improve it
  • To meet legal obligations

We do not use the health information in your request for marketing, and we do not sell your personal data.

By sending a request, you give explicit consent for us and the clinic to process the information in it, including any health information, for the purpose of arranging your appointment. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this won't affect processing that has already happened.

4. Who We Share It With

  • The dental clinic that receives your appointment request, so it can contact you and provide care
  • Service providers who help us run the website and deliver form submissions, under confidentiality obligations
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to do so

Some service providers may process data outside Indonesia. Where that happens, we take the steps UU PDP requires to make sure your data stays protected.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep appointment requests only as long as needed to arrange your appointment and handle any follow-up questions, and then delete them unless we must keep them for legal reasons. Your clinical records are held by the clinic under its own obligations.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for form submissions. No online system is completely secure, so please don't send more health detail than you need to for an appointment request.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, measure visits and understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although some features may be limited.

8. Your Rights

Under UU PDP you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Ask us to delete your data or stop processing it
  • Withdraw your consent
  • Object to automated decision-making that affects you
  • Complain to the relevant authority if you think your data has been mishandled

9. Children

Appointment requests for children should be sent by a parent or guardian, who gives consent on the child's behalf.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
